Welcoming the new year 2009
as i have said.. i'll post the group pic of our christmas gathering at jean's place when i get it..

on the 31 of dec 2008.. we had a the chocolatier's party/countdown at my boss place..
and everytime i visit her place, i'm always attracted to the view from her house.. the view is simply beautiful.. i just cant take my eyes of it..

after stuffing ourself with food, we still had a lot of food left..haha.. so we play a game andrew introduced..
and if you lost.. you eat..haha..
at the 0000hrs flares are shot up to the sky.. i have similar photos from last year.. well simply cos it was the exect same spot from which the photos are taken..haha.. however this year there were lesser flares shot up into the sky..haha..
well.. the view is still simply beautiful.. if only i lived in this area..haha..

and the group photo..haha.. there are still other photos but its not with me.. same, i'll upload them when i get them..haha..well.. this is by far the most number of staff i have seen working at the chocolatier.. this year there were 3 outlets hence the increased number of staff..haha.. i would like to call this a big family.. some of whom i have really bonded with after i've worked there for such a long time.. soon we'll all take our seperate paths.. but if i met you on the street, i would remember that we onced worked together in that little chocolate shop at taka and raffles place.. fond memories will remain in my heart.. and thank you people for everything whether good of bad..
i spend the whole night at my boss place playing marjong.. haha.. we played from 1 all the way till almost 6.. omg..haha.. this is the longest i have ever played marjong.. it was a funny game.. and of cos no money was involved.. thats why its funny..haha..
the next new year will be different, i'll be in the army by then.. i'm looking forward to it.. next christmas will be different too.. i'll no longer be working at taka.. for the past 4 years, i've spent every christmas working at taka.. some might say its boring.. i find it interesting.. every year its a different experience.. working with different people, meeting different people.. i wonder how would it be like to spend christmas not working there.. its strange how i grow so attached to that place and that job even though i'm only a part time staff there..
anyway its the new year, and definitely a new begining for me.. a lot of things have happen in 2008.. some are good and some a bad.. i would say that 2008 was an eventful year for me.. i will not go into the details... they are on my blog.. you just have to go read it..
2009... i hope that it will be a better year then 2008.. i hope for that best, a better futher, a better world, to make a change, to make the world a better place, to live life to the fullest... i dont have any new years' resolution, never have and never made any.. nothing can be planned and put into place.. the world is constantly moving..
its time to let go..
not because i want too..

a promise i've made,

but in a different way,

ps: i'm sorry for the randomness of this post.. my thoughts jumping here and there... that happens when you have so little time and so much to say and think about.. may God watch over us..
