Chinese New Year.. The Cow year has arrived..

on the 24th of Jan i went out cycling again.. i need to lose weight so..haha.. and i was cycling along dairy farm road and i came along this.. interesting..haha.. its looks like chalet.. but its actually a condo or private apartment.. i think its really cool la to stay in such a place..haha..

then i when around another place.. all private apartment.. if i am rich..haha.. i such get a big big house with a big big yard..haha..
i was cycling along some park connector and came across this..haha.. i wonder what they are going to build there..haha..

this is what you get for staying in the sun too long with out sunblock..haha.. sunburnt..haha..

ok.. on the eve of the lunar new year, i headed to chinatown with some of my poly classmates..haha.. boy it has be a long long long time since i visited this place during the chinese new year period..haha.. i think the last time i visit that place during chinese new year was when i was in primary school..haha..
that stage where they had the chinese new year performance and countdown..haha..

the mass of people.. that is a slight difference from then and now..

let me give you a comparison..
then...
a lot a lot of people, a lot of different chinese new year goodies, a lot of bargining,a lot people buying..

now.. still a lot of people but lesser.. more angmo and foreign bodies.. lesser types of chinese new year goodies, more foreign countries goodies, lesser people buying..

haha.. that difference was pretty clear.. haha.. pockets tightening.. and more foreignners..haha.. Singapore my island home what has become of you..




this is something really cool.. we meet one of our SP lectures at chinatown..haha.. nope he have not taught us.. but we could recongnise him from the award presentation when he was in his jester outfit..haha..

haha.. we got some sparklers and bomb packs and "fire crackers" i dont know wats that thing called.. but its all old school..haha.. soon no one will play with such stuff..haha.. i'll post the video up when i get them..haha..
and so all good things come to an end.. its time to go home..haha..

i certainly had a very fun time there..haha..

new year..haha. the year of the cow.. i seriouly think that the poster looks like pigs..haha..

omg.. this is something really sad.. my watch finally gave up on me on the first day of new year..
i had it for 2 years.. haha.. i guess i'm going to get anothing watch for my birthday again.. this watch was also my birhtday present..haha..
byebye watch.. haha.. i feel really really weird without my watch.. i feel incomplete.. i loss track of time.. i just feel weird.. i never never have a watch on my wrist.. the only time i remember taking of my watch was when i was in my ncc uniform, during a medical screening and when i'm swimming at the beach.. but mostly my watch is with me 24-7.. when will i get my new watch..haha..

ok.. this might sound strange to most of you.. joel listening to chinese song..haha.. for your info.. i do listen to chinese songs.. but most of the times i dont really understand the meaning..haha.. but i found this song really touching.. i heard the milobeng version.. but got no feel.. then heard it on css some girls sang it.. that i got feel already.. then i heard the song again on radio.. by the actual singer.. and it was really good..haha.. have feel.. so its here on my blog..haha..


its less then 48 hours before i turn 20.. and i'm not able to enjoy it due to projects.. shit..haha.. till then.. haha.. Godspeed..haha..
