Vietnum holiday
and so i finally have a holiday with my family..haha.. 4 days in Vietnum.. from the 5th to the 8th of March.. i remember the last time i went for a holiday with my family was 9 years ago.. we went to Thailand..haha.. its been 9 long years..haha..anyway, my trip started on thursday.. early in the morning we heading to changi airport for our flight to Vietnum, Hanoi airport..

i've been to a few airports, but i still think Singapore has to best Airport..haha..
and the best service, i had the privilege to be attended to by this really sweet air stewardess.. she is always smiling to the passengers.. omg.. you could almost fall in love with her smile..haha.. sadly i do not know her name.. a slight blur to the picture or i would have gotten her name a wrote to SIA about her.. on the return flight she was also in the same cabin, but different side.. i didnt realise until i went out of the airport an saw her with another flight attendent which was attending to my side.. omg wasted..haha.. SIA rocks..

after exiting the plane, the baggage claim is like less the 30m from the plane and the dutyfree outlet..
it is really small compared to Singapore..

i'm not kidding here.. rice production seems to be a major source of income for this country..
ok.. you might be wondering why are the houses built like this.. when they have so much land.. haha.. the reason is simple.. the calculate the cost of land by the width of the building.. so a skinnier and taller house= lower cost of land and more space..haha.. strange..haha..
that dog is going to end up in someones stomach.. i would like to caution all readers.. there will be some really shocking photos at the later part of the entry, if you are a dog lover i strongly advise you to read with understanding..

the roads here are really strange.. the have different spend limit for different vechicles for different roads..haha..

the number plate is also very different.. must be due to the number of motorcycles on the road..

the toilet over there..haha.. i have concluded that the toilets in Vietnum beats the toilet in China hands down.. the onces in China are really really bad..

green green green.. i think more then 50% of the land in vietnum is covered with paddy fields.. the tour guide was saying.. in Singapore we manufacter electronics, then one small bag of it has the same value to that of several huge bags of rice..

you see a lot of this over there.. cows, pigs, ducks, etc..wondering the fields and the side of the road..
dissappearing mountians.. the are using the sand from these hills to reclaim land.. like Singapore.. Singapore also buys sand from Vietnum..

Heritage Hotel.. 4 stars.. so service there is very good..haha..

haha.. this is funny.. i remember in china the toliets in the hotel also have this..haha..

oh.. i forgot to mention where am i.. this is Ha Long Bay..a major tourist district.. so there are lots of hotels over here..
holy.. i till you the food there is like.. omg.. they serve sea food for all meals except breakfast which is taken at the hotel.. so imagine.. 2 days at ha long bay.. seafood from lunch and dinner.. and the seafood is not like Singapore... dont bother asking.. the food was really bad..

all these boats here are used for tourist attractions.. so you could imagine how big the tourist industry is here.. but the business is getting bad..

lao bo ping.. ok.. the lao bo ping in vietnum looks really different fomr those in Singapore..haha.. and the taste is also different..
relaxing on board the boat.. its really cold.. temp there about 19 deg c.. its cooling and sometimes to the extend of shivering.. cos its really windy and i'm not wearing a wind breaker..haha..

ok.. at this stopover, half the time i dont know wat the tour guide was talking about.. i would say i have bad imagination..haha..
anyway this caves as said to have been discovered when some people were trying to seek shelter from the bad weater at sea.. they said that this cave was carved by the waves.. how true i dont know..haha..
this is really really weird.. i dont know if it trustable if there's such a word.. this is the fossil of a turtle.. a real turtle..

bicycle and motorcycle, main mode of transport.. oh.. i forgot something.. from the airport the ha long bay, i counted 2 traffic lights.. haha.. if you are wondering, the journey was 3 hours..

they become dog meat.. its pretty.. i dont know.. weird.. strange.. they kill dogs on the main road and sell them there.. dog meat is well welcomed in Vietnum.. and is even more expensive then pork.. the eat the dogs like how you will eat roasted pig.. omg.. oh.. i forgot to mention.. i almost witness the slaughting of a cow.. they do it along the road just outside the restuant i was dinning in.. the tied the cows legs and neck making it inmobile and after which we drove of in the van.. i dont want to know wat happens after that..when i came out of the restuarnt i saw the cow and i knew something was going to happen.. and i when i saw a man holding a chopper.. i confirmed they were going to kill the cow.. something you'll never see in Singapore.. but that does not stop me for enjoying beef..

i seriously think this story about the tortise and the magic sword is a myth..haha..
water puppet show.. in chinese is sui shang mu ou xi.. i think this is the ping ying..haha.. anyway that show was retarded.. you have to pay extra US$1 to take photos and US$6 to take video of the puppet show.. so no photos of the show..

home sweet home..i shall wrap up this post here.. the trip was farely ok.. nothing really interstin for me..cos there was nothing interesting to see..haha.. but the culture there is something really different from Singapore, from the way they lived, the houses they lived in etc.. thats something which i think is really memoriable for me..
however, something really unpleasant and scary happened during the trip which is not suitable for public eyes to read about so i shall not post it up here..
holidays.. i'm living like a couch potato now.. eat sleep watch tv.. i seriously need a job.. if any could intro me a job that would be good.. i cant stand it when i have nothing to do..
oh ya.. i have offically ran out of space on the blog.. so i will have to shift soon.. this post will be one of the last fews post on this blog.. i'll get a new blog soon.. but i'll be keeping this as well.. to many memories have been placed in this blog..
